Kodi's Club Rescue

One year old Milo is quite a hunk! This boy isn't done growing and filling out yet, but despite his size, he is an absolute sweetheart. A STRONG sweetheart, but still a love. Milo's family included a child but due to his size we prefer children over 12 and who have previously lived with a big dog. He's good with other dogs but would do best with a dog in his age range who is not reactive to pushy play. A female would be best. We believe if a male dog reacted to his playstyle, it could result in friction. The shelter shared that Milo showed himself as dog social, 'having lived harmoniously with another dog in a home or having met and enjoyed the company of other dogs at the shelter'. Cats are a no.
Milo was reported by the owner as being mostly house broken. He is crate trained. They described him as good company and 'chill' with a medium energy level. He enjoys toys, is a 'foodie', and walks well on leash although he does pull if he sees another dog. Milo would absolutely benefit from Obedience classes which will be a condition of his adoption. His strength and current age related behaviors need to be guided in the right direction so that he will be a good citizen as an adult.
