Luna
is a 2 1/2 year old
lab/shep, maybe boxer, cross that
recently lost her home of 2 years when
her former owners moved in with a
parent.
Luna is spayed, healthy,
boarding with obedience trainers,
housebroken, vaccinated and
microchipped.
Luna would love a home
that will love her forever this time,
not until it becomes inconvenient to
have her. For additional information
about
Luna

It began with a few
friends that shared a passion. We enlisted the help of a dog
walker with a huge heart and were fortunate to find a few
tireless and dedicated foster homes. Add to this a lot of
driving, many sleepless nights and a whole lot of
dedication...... next thing you know, our grassroots rescue
group was born.
We would like to sincerely thank those individuals and families
that have adopted our rescued animals these past months and have
made payments directly to the veterinarians that we use to
provide life- saving medical treatment, vaccinations,
spay/neuter and emergency boarding.
If you would like to make even the smallest contribution
directly to one of the group's veterinarians, please contact
Kodi's Club at hope42705@hotmail.com.
Tax deductible contributions can be made payable to "Kodi's
Club," c/o Brett Verlen at 123 East 37th Street, APT 8D, NY, NY
10016. ("this is a mailing address only, and does not accept
dogs for surrender")
We now accept checking account and credit card donations via
PayPal at http://www.paypal.com. The email associated with our
account is hope42705@hotmail.com.

Kodi's Club
volunteers ensure that all dogs receive proper medical care,
(including neutering / spaying and vaccinations) and their
members provide a temporary foster home until a permanent home
can be found.
Puppies and seniors, mixed breeds and purebreds, as well as
those who need a little extra TLC for broken legs, skin
conditions, pneumonia or various other conditions are nurtured
back to health. Many of the dogs come from high kill city
shelters and this is their last chance for the life they
deserve.
Our rescue effort starts with the initial pickup and
administration of immediate veterinary care and progresses
through foster care, small adoption events, home screening, and
ultimately permanent placement. This organization then provides
post-adoption follow-up and support. It is our goal to never
have one of this organization’s rescues return to the shelter
system or in a home that does not provide a responsible,
nurturing environment for the lifetime of the pet.
We firmly believe that we can make a difference to those we take
into our care and we will strive daily to do whatever is in our
power and abilities to accomplish that goal.
Kodi's
Club , in conjunction with "Suffering in Silence", a
rescue group based in Orange County, NY, has rescued and
responsibly placed emaciated, dying dogs from as far away as
Belize, Central America to as local as a backyard in Gardiner,
N.Y. The majority of our rescue effort is concentrated on the
high kill, overcrowded shelters within the 5 boroughs of New
York City.
Our dogs may have boundaries but our rescue certainly does not!
