Meet Myrna! This plus size senior lady arrived at the shelter in the dead of weather after being found as a stray. While Myrna's precise age is unknown, she looks to be in her golden years. Typical for a dog her age, Myrna has a low energy level and likes to spend much of her time resting (and being pampered lol).

 

Myrna is fostered in a multidog home and has a small pack of other seniors to hang out with. Myrna is polite with these seniors, but we have not asked her to engage with the younger, more active dogs who would jump all over her. She does greet other dogs politely and appears interested in further interaction. Myrna loves humans!

Myrna would love to find herself a patient, loving retirement home where she can receive love and attention for her remaining years. She is so appreciative of interaction, petting, and companionship. She has not been assessed with cats.
