ADOPTED!!!!!
Alexa is described as not having a mean bone in her body, but this poor girl has special needs, Alexa was abandoned by her family and she is having a hard time adjusting to the loss. It has left her with insecurities and the need to be close to a human, any human, for comfort. While she is wonderful with other dogs, she plays hard. She does not tire easily so would need a canine companion with a comparable desire to play. She readily gives her belly to other dogs during play, but also could be overwhelming to dogs who have a lower energy level, Her ideal home would be one in which an adult is home with her. She is not a fan of crating, but did finally accept being crated after about 3 weeks in her temporary foster home. Alexa is now in a boarding kennel because her foster family worked full time. She is also too anxious and energetic to be around small children so teenagers only. Are you that special person or family who can help this poor soul find peace?
