Meet Cyrus! This 4 yr old is a total sweetheart! He was adopted from a NY rescue to people in Philly. His 'family' decided they didn't want him after all and tied him up outside the PSPCA one night. Lovely, just lovely 😳. He was transferred to ACCT who contacted us when his original rescue didn't take him back. We honestly haven't seen a nicer boy than this guy. He gently and politely allowed all vetting today. Nails, blood work, everything. We found out his original family had a teenager with autism who was non-verbal, but screamed a lot when frustrated. Cyrus was both accepting and tolerant of the ongoing behavior of this child. That's a testimony to his temperament in my opinion.

 

Cyrus can co-exist with another dog but does not prefer playing with them. A sniff, then goes his own way. kind of a live and let live approach. NO cats or small animals for this guy!
